How does a garden grow? Let’s find out! Examine seeds like beans, sunflowers, and pumpkins—feel their textures, discover their differences, and journey through the plant life cycle. Garden Growers is an interactive preschool summer camp that encourages children to construct knowledge through meaningful play, thoughtfully planned activities, and active exploration of the environment. While the lesson plan incorporates many different Pennsylvania Learning Standards, it focuses on the key learning areas of “Approaches to Learning through Play” and “Scientific Thinking, Technology.” Specifically, children will engage in learning activities that meet the PA Standard Areas of Organizing and Understanding Information and Life Science.
