Prepare for a sticky and sappy week of fun! Learn how maple trees produce sweet syrup for our pancakes. We’ll experiment with syrup, design our own syrup bottles, and even learn why maple leaves are a symbol of Canada. While the lesson plan incorporates many different Pennsylvania Learning Standards, students will engage in specific activities that meet the PA Standard Areas of Science, Social Studies, Health, Wellness and Physical Development, and Visual Arts.
