Y2K Tales is a school-age unit steeped in activities that enable students to challenge themselves, experiment, and transform information into meaningful content and skills. Students will “chillax” as they use scientific thinking, inquiry, and discovery! While the lesson plan incorporates many different Pennsylvania Learning Standards, it focuses on the key learning areas of “Scientific Thinking and Technology”, “Creative Thinking and Expression”, and “Social Emotional Development.” Specifically, students will learn to engage in learning activities that meet the PA Standard Areas of Technology and Engineering, Historical and Cultural Context of Works of Art, and Establishing and Maintaining Relationships.
